The New covenant with Noah Genesis 9

1. God Blessed Noah and his family- Jesus blesses his people and their families


2. God commands Noah to be fruitful- Jesus tells his disciples to bare much fruit


3. God commands multiplication- Jesus tells his followers to make disciples


4. God commands the earth be replenished- The church is promised a new heaven and new earth.

The animals do well to fear man and be in dread of him man is not only cruel to his fellow man but also to his creation, that said God now tells man to use the animals for food killing animals for food or because the are pests is fine cruelty to animals for sport is not!

What are the main differences between mans position in the renewed world after the flood and the pre-flood world of Adam?

1. Man is now told to eat meat before the animals were for fellowship now for food


2. There is now dread where once was peace


3. God has given his second ever law to man


4. Murder was the second sin the law relating to murder is the second law


5. The penalty for the first sin was spiritual and physical death


6. The penalty for the second sin is immediate physical death to be carried out by man on his fellow man.

verse 8 God now speaks to Noah and his sons what an amazing event that must have been God addressing the whole family of Noah at the same time they all hear God speak, we too can hear God speak as we read His Word the very words of God spoken to the apostles and prophets and recorded in the Bible.
